Overview
The Carrier RFP Portal allows Carriers to manage and execute their RFP bidding strategy from event invitation, all the way to award acceptance.

Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first page you'll see when you log into the Carrier RFP Portal. From here, you can see the status of all the RFP events you've been invited to. In addition, you can search for specific lanes across your events.
Carrier Lane Search
Looking for a specific lane within all of your RFP Events? Use the Carrier Lane Search bar at the top of the Dashboard
You can search for:
- Origin or Destination
- State, State Code
- City, State
- Search Radius
- Equipment Type
Upcoming Events
In Upcoming Events, you can see a list of RFP Events you have been invited to, where bidding will open soon in the future.
Once open, the Event will move to the 'Bidding Open' status
Bidding Open
In Bidding Open, you can see a list of all Events where bidding is open.
Here, you'll also see:
- Number of Days to Submit Bids
- Bid Status
- Contract Duration
Click on Bid to view lanes and begin the bidding process. See How to Submit RFP Bid
Bidding Under Review
Events that are pending shipper review. Bidding window has closed and you have submitted your bids.
Click View to review your bid responses
Award Response Required
Bidding has closed and awards have been published. These pending awards require a response
Click Respond to view award details and to submit your response.

Bid Overview: this will show you the SCAC that you are bidding under (capacity providers can be invited under multiple SCAC codes to bid on events for different divisions of business), it will also show how many lanes you have bid on as well as a countdown to when the bidding closes

RFP Checklist: a checklist of steps to submit your bid for the RFP. This will help you remember what part of the process you are in for each event you are invited to

Register for the RFP Event: this should be automatically checked off, if you can see this page, you are a registered participant for the event

Read RFP Details and download documents: click here to view details of the RFP, read the carrier letter and download any relevant documents to the event

Download Lanes: click here to navigate to the lanes page where you can download the lanes to a spreadsheet

Upload your bid response: click here to upload your bid response once you have filled out the spreadsheet downloaded in the download lanes step

Event Details: this will show you the Event name, Shipper Name, Bidding dates, Contract dates and the number of lanes in the event

RFP Instructions: this is where the details about this specific event will be found, these details are usually also sent out in a carrier letter, but this section could be more detailed than the initial carrier letter. Event dates will be found here as well as instructions such as specific ways to bid on your customer’s event.

Contact Emerge RFP Support: click this link to fill out a ticket form to reach the Emerge Support team for in depth assistance with the RFP portal

Show More: click this to show the full details within the RFP Instructions section

Documents: this is where you will find any documents your shipper has attached that may be filled with necessary information to bid in the event
Lanes

Submit Your Bid Response: you can easily submit your bid response by choosing the dark blue button in this section

Search: you can search the lanes with this search feature to see the lane details or your bid response/ feedback if you have already uploaded your bid

Download Lanes: click this button to download the lanes spreadsheet to fill out, save and submit

Upload Response: click here to upload your bid response. You can also choose to upload by choosing the blue Submit Bid Response button in section 2

Lanes: this is where you can see the lane details, bid feedback (if your customer has it turned on), your bid rate and volume as well as all lane details.

On the Q&A page, you can read answers of questions the shipper has already answered from other participants or you can ask your own question to the shipper.
