Shippers are now able to upload metrics and overall grades for their Network Partners through the use of Carrier Scorecards. This feature allows shippers to view carrier metrics and consider metrics within optimization and awarding.
Carrier Scorecards include metrics uploaded by shippers as well as auto-populated FMCSA Safety and Operational details for all Network Partners. This information is accessible throughout various parts of the RFP application.
Carrier Scorecards can be viewed and utilized throughout the Dynamic RFP Portal.
- Event Creation
- Participants Tab
- Awarding
- Scenario Building (Constraints)
- Network Partner Export File
If you have any questions about this or any other part of the Shipper Dynamic RFP Portal, please reach out to your Solutions Engineer or Sales Representative directly.
NOTE: All carrier scorecard data shown below is test data and does not reflect any actual metrics or FMCSA information. The Carrier Scorecard feature is currently only available on RFP Events with a mode type of FTL. (Additional modes will be supported in future)
How to Upload Carrier Scorecards
-
Click the NETWORK PARTNERS tab on the left hand side of the screen.
-
Click MANAGE NETWORK PARTNERS and select Edit Existing Network Partners. Then click Download template on the pop up window that appears.
-
Open the file. You will now see in columns I through M fields for Grade (%), Pickup Ontime (%), Delivery Ontime (%), Tracking (%), and Acceptance (%). You can enter these numbers (0-100) for any or all of the fields, which are all independent of each other. The information entered in the Grade (%) column will be translated into the letter grade to be displayed throughout the application. This grade is determined using standard grading scales (70-79 = C, 80-89 = B, 90 - 100 = A, etc.). Once you have entered your metrics for your Network Partners, save the document.
-
Either click BROWSE FILES or Drag & Drop the file into the Edit Existing Network Partners pop up window and click SUBMIT once it is finished uploading.
-
You can now see the Grade you assigned to each of your Network Partners in the Grade column. NOTE: These grades can be edited any time by following steps 2 through 5.
-
Click on the name of Network Partner to see their full scorecard. You will see their Performance ratings on the left-hand side based on your uploaded values (Grade and Metrics). You will also see their Safety and Operations details provided by FMCSA in the Details & Operations sections.
