How to Bulk Upload Contract Lanes
- Login to the Shipper TMS portal
- At the top left of the screen, click > Bulk Upload > Contract Lanes
- Users can also access Bulk Upload by going to the 'Contract Lanes' tab and clicking Import
- Click to begin downloading the blank template file
- Open the 'Contract Lanes Bulk Upload Template' file and fill out the file
- Column names with an asterisk (*) indicate a required field
- Some columns (ex. Origin Loading Type, Equipment Type, etc) will have a pre-populated pick list available
- Once you are finished filling out the template file with your contract lanes, save the file to your local computer
- Upload your saved file by clicking
- Click Upload File and select your file
- Optional: You can also drag your file into the window or manually enter your data
- Map Fields - verify the column name mappings from your file
- Click Submit

1. What file types are supported for Contract Lane Bulk Upload?
Supported file types are .xls, .xlsx, and .csv
2. How do I know if my contract lane upload is successful?
After successfully uploading, you'll receive a message on your screen. You'll also get an email confirming whether each lane and rate was successfully created.
3. I'm getting an error after submitting my bulk upload. What should I do?
If you're receiving an error, please read the error reason presented in the upload tool and adjust your file based on that feedback. Be sure to save your changes before trying to upload again. If you're unclear about an error, please reach out to Emerge Application Support.
4. Can I export my Contract Lanes?
Yes - To export Contract Lanes click the Contract Lanes tab (left hand side of your screen). From the Contract Lanes page, click Export.
5. Can I update expiration dates in bulk?
Yes - To update Contract Lanes expiration dates, click the Contract Lanes tab (left hand side of your screen). Select the checkbox of the lanes you wish you update then click Update Expiration Dates. Enter the new expiration dates and click Update Expiration Dates
6. Can I delete Contract Lanes in bulk?
Yes - To delete Contract Lanes, from the Contract Lanes tab (left hand side of your screen) select the checkbox of the lanes you wish you delete then click Delete Lanes. Note: Deletions are not reversible.
