Summary
Entity Management in the Emerge Carrier TMS allows certain Users to invite, view, and configure all Users tied to their company. In addition, users with Entity Management permissions are able to edit bookability and deactivate users. There are two user types within the Carrier TMS Portal: Standard Users and Entity Managers
Standard Users
Access to Entity Management
Standard Users do not have access to Entity Management in the Carrier TMS platform. To unlock the Entity Management page, an existing Entity Manager in your company must update your account.
Access to Book Loads in Emerge Marketplace
Standard Users of Approved Transportation Entities without access to book a load in the Emerge Marketplace will be presented a blue banner on the home page reading "Your marketplace access is limited. Request eligibility to book a marketplace load".
To request access, click the REQUEST button. Once clicked, Entity Managers with bookability access will be notified via email of the request to update bookability permissions.
Invite Users
Standard Users can invite new users to join their company. To do so:
- From the Homepage, click Invite New User
- Enter the invitee's Email, Phone Number, and Name
- The user will be sent an email to register before joining your company in the Emerge platform
Entity Managers

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I use Entity Management to get visibility into other users' activity with Network Shippers?
- No - Entity Management is a feature built to manage general Emerge access (i.e invite and deactivate users), as well as bookability within the Emerge Marketplace (load board). Activity, contacts, and permissions related to your existing Network Shippers will be unchanged and will continue to be managed with the Shipper directly.
As a Standard User, if I request bookability through the platform, how long will it take for the feature to turn on?
- After you click "Request", an email will be delivered to the Entity Managers in your company with notice of your request. If a few days have passed, we recommend reaching out to the Entity Manager.
